like maybe take it to 4th or 5th cap 2nd in the build order, after capping STR?

if so, I'd like to hear how that dot did.

^This guy took it up to 84 on one of his guards and claimed that he did extremely well at WL. It is possible he was exaggerating though.

^This player (closed at the mo, sorry) has confidence at 81, and a superior build to the other one (34% hold block for a start) and I'm not too keen on how he performs. He can do OK at Pro but has been killed from time to time by the better players. His build isn't exactly great though.

Confidence is a tricky one because they will change the sim several times before the young players reach the top. At the moment though it seems necessary to focus on other attributes to not be left behind.

He only played special teams because he was way underleveled in his league.

I mean in season 19 he was only playing special teams because he was the 3rd G and way under leveled.

I've given up on all morale SA's, VA's and Confidence. I have an OT which has finished #1 in the league in Pancakes in 3 of the last 4 seasons. Showboat Blocker seemed like a logical addition to his arsenal to demoralize DE's. Game after game the opposing DE gets pancaked all game long, and every once in a while he will get a sad face in the 4th quarter. No difference from before I added Showboat Blocker.

I've experimented on other OT's with Absorb Pain, Pummel, and different degrees of Confidence. I don't see a difference with their morale, or the effect on the defender.

At some point either the morale system has to work properly, or it has to be dropped all together. I vote for the latter. Trying to simulate a game is one thing, but trying to simulate emotional reactions is quite another. I don't think it is reasonable to believe that these dots can emulate human emotions based on a few attributes and SAs.
