Looks like you guys are right: pee wee is dying. I bought a team in Copper League #5 on Day 35, Season 20, and made players for it, etc. This morning, I log on to continue with setting up the team, and I find that my team has been promoted to Silver #1. So, without looking around, I posted a support ticket and asked them to move me back to my correct league. I just checked back in for a quick look-see and find that they moved me to Copper League ... one of them, and there are only CPU teams in that league. Looked through all the rest of Copper and there are two or three - I was in a bit of a rush - human teams besides mine in all of Copper. Hell, if I'd known that Copper was all CPU I'd have stayed in Silver to give me human competition while I learn the DAI and OAI and stuff. Crap!

Think I ought to ask to be sent to Silver??? I really could use human competition and all that goes with it. If I wanted to play vs. my PC, I'd have bought an old John Madden Football program that runs on it.

Copper was as weak as I ever seen it last season. We went 20-0 with only 8 human players.

The teams reset each season and pretty much any sign of life gets a copper team 'promoted' to silver while everything else gets pushed down the ladder. There are some decent Silver leagues to participate in for sure.

Well, I asked to be sent to Silver and the chap from Support was very nice and reminded me that a lot of the CPU teams in Copper would be sold over the next few days and the Leagues would fill up with humans! Damn, this senility is coming on stronger and earlier than I thought!! Fortunately, "I get by with the help of my friends." heh.

I would go to a silver league if I was you. Copper leagues are usually 0 competition these last couple of seasons.

That's okay, Deluca0903, as long as they have human owners, DC's and/or OC's so that I can learn how to make a playbook for offense and defense against real living people. Besides, I don't think they'll send me back to Sliver at this point. *shrug* It's okay. I figure on spending at least two seasons or three in PW learning the offense and defense. Most especially is the game mechanics of it - "which button do I click on???" - more than the actual tactics of the D and the O.

Maybe, GLB is dying a little. A bit because the SIM, a bit because the economy.
Even though I've done well for myself and my family the past two years, it's not because I haven't worked my ass off.
People are either busy, broke, or unconcerned.

Probably has more to do with this game being 3 years old and many getting bored with it.

too simple, we have to over-analyze things

That, and everyone is so spread out now which makes the game appear to be even smaller than it is. I really feel that this game's userbase has shrunk down too much to have 3 separate leagues and tons of private forums.

all I know is whats for me personally.

and that is: the cons:
gets confusing when building dots as to who is for what ( this could be a pretty personal issue to be fair)

I tend to want to build like a long term dot, and thats frustrating.

the whole "one and done" thing is just not as .. hmm.. can't think of the word,, as building a long term dot.

the pros:

long term pee wee community

good group of agents and more challenging on a different lvl than regular dots.

but thats just my take on it.
