I've been leaning toward shopping for AEQ for most of my dots rather than straight building it. I'm waiting until level 41 to start looking. However, my first QB is level 38, and I'm wondering, is shopping probably a bad idea for a QB? I'm thinking so since my other dots seem to get random stuff with no regard for their position. Is that any different for QBs?

I usually avoid AEQ. IMO, building a good piece for max BT and then upgrading that is a much safer route.

It's been my experience that it's all up to luck. It won't kill your build in the long-run if you refresh the store 3 or 4 times. I lucked out on a couple dots and got good AEQ rolls the first time. On another one of my dots I spent about 30 BT's before I rolled a good enough piece to buy. I got greedy
