Have zero illusions about him being elite, etc. My first offensive player. I think he's build better than most, but more curious about maximizing him despite his weaknesses.

i.e.: Time to start pumping SAs?

Like the speed, though need more carrying. Don't spend SA's yet

That's a very good build, I think. I'm bad at judging anything below 72, but it definitely looks like it's on track. Also, yes, stay away from SAs. Wait at least until he's 360, if not 400 days old. Depending on the route you go and how heavy on SA you want to go..

Good build, but it's tough for any dots in that time range to compete with ones who were built under the archetype system at positions where the ALGs improved drastically, which they did at HB. I would still work more on attributes before worrying about SAs. Cap strength next given that you're so close and it will roll over the decimal in two levels. After that you could go in a lot of different directions depending upon what you want him to look like at the end.

They can still have a season or two at the top...

I don't know. I was in love with my S12d41 dot, but planning out the build I saw that my archetype HB would have killed him, and I even retired that dot because we had another guy whose archetype HB was even better than mine.

This guys dot is already going to come in at like 1050 sp and like 94 natural speed. I've got a lvl 48 dot that I think is gonna be pretty good too... but my younger dots will probably kill them... you're right.

The archetype HB I retired had 91.5 natural speed at level 36. The other one I was talking about only had that much at level 44, and that was despite training it almost constantly. I do like the OP's dot, but full archetypes are going to be so much better than anything the end-game has seen before.

Thanks for all of the input. It's definitely encouraging to know he's not a flop.

For those interested, SPD is trained up at ~60+%, and carrying is sitting at 97% waiting for the final train there. Will train SPD until it gets another point but probably won't continue further. (?, I may do another, but it may be better to move on to JMP/CTCH) My immediate plans for next level up is to cap STR as someone said (to get back to better quad training). After that, may add another level or two into carrying then train it over.

After that, I'm honestly at a question mark. VIS will need pints, STA & STR will need to get to 60. I'd like to get Quick Cut, Head Fake, and Juke pretty pumped up with at least a few in Open Field Fake to help HF & J. That'll take a lot of SPs.

Anyway, thanks again all. Further advice certainly welcomed.

Wait, so....400 (now 440?) isn't the deadline to get all our SPs accrued and spent? I've been building this guy under the assumption that 400/440 was the final deadline to build. This is my first offensive guy and my first since I retired all my first gen players.

either way you look at it, you're going to hit at least 72 - you need 30 sp to get one SA from 0-10 but its only 20 sp to get from 0-8.
so 8-8-4-8 - 6 is 84 sp. 17 levels worth of sp. - So technically you can wait til you are lvl 55 to put your sp into sa's or close to it.
(note: I only did 6 in spin because it looks like you already have a piece of aeq in spin and you probably will only put 4 natural Spin)

You've got 7 levels of sp to do whatever you want with imo.
