What is the highest amount of speed seen on a DT? Vision? Confidence?Stamina? Has anyone ever tried 100+ agility 100+ speed 90+ str 80vision 70+ stamina 60+ confidence on a dt? Curious to know the thoughts on that. Pass rushing specialist aren't ever going to have the str of a run stopping specialist which is why I am currious to know if anyone has ever tried the above.

100 strength, 100 speed, 100 agility, 70 vision has been done before without much success. I don't know about the stamina and confidence.

Right now my level 39 is at 89 strength, 89 agility 81 speed and 56 vision, 52 stamina, and 37 confidence. I'm going to cap vision after I get it trained up over 80%.

Is that natural or with equipment? Also, I just started multi-training last season but here are my numbers thus far for my level 32:

Agility 102 Speed 71 Strength 67 Vision 32 Stamina 31 Confidence 19 Tackling 35

I know a lot of people probably would hate on his build, but I'm trying to make him geared toward long-term success at the higher lvls. What is the highest you'd take speed? I've been going back and forth between speed and str with my points. Just nit quite sure where to stop on speed because I don't want to stop too soon and be screwed later on.

If you're going back and forth with your points, are you really aiming for long-term at that stage? :/

I mean, christ, look at your effective level. 32/31 ! That's horrible! Don't needlessly spread your points around, and instead focus on one single attribute until you get it to the level you want, and only then put points elsewhere, then repeat. And are you 4-way multitraining?

Just started multi last season. No. that is not horrible. Also, I am going and forth between speed and str to keep my str at somewhat decent lvl, otherwise my guy would literally get pancaked every play. I cap speed and then come back and cap str. If speed was my sole focus str wouldn't even be where it is now. Anyhow, what should I stop at in terms of speed?

going back and forth between attributes will help you now, but ten levels from now you'll be far behind a dot who focused on one attribute at a time. You're shooting yourself in the foot when it comes to long term success.

Meh....let me try to explain this a little better. Ok hypothetically speaking say I'm around 6 spas from reaching a cap in str but 15 from reaching it in speed, I go ahead and cap str and then go back to focusing on speed. That is what I mean. Not 2 sps here and 2 spas there , constantly back and forth. That I much I know will kill my dude. Anyhow, what is the highest I should take speed to on a dt?

As high as you can get it while still having

over 240 strength + agility (with equipment and at least 130 of that needs to be strength) and having over 70 vision, 60 stamina, and 45 confidence. Ideally 55+ confidence, but if you have to skimp somewhere that's where you want to do it.

Yes, yes it IS horrible. Your effective level is below your real level, that IS the definition of horrible and inefficient!!!!

And you prove us that you are not thinking of the long term. If you care whether or not you are pancaked every play NOW, then you aren't thinking long term. Long term thinking is "who cares what happens now, I'll build as efficiently as possible to give me max chances later".

You should raise speed as high as you can while still achieving the minimums in agility and strength. There's no better way to say this, but if you can make sure you end up with at least 81 natural strength and agility, then you can afford speed. If not, you're gonna be having problems later on.

p.s. If you're just starting multi at level 30+ you're probably not doing it right :\

The only time it's okay to deviate from your current attribute is if another attribute will roll over a cap at your next level. And this is only okay once ALG's have bottomed out past lvl 37.

6 sp's is way too much to deviate from speed and you are losing one full level of ALG's from speed at their most efficient point andi nstead using them at an inefficient point.

The goal is to finish each attribute as soon as possible to get the most efficient and beneficial gains for that attribute. Everytime you deviate you detract from that goal and you are robbing yourself of later build efficiency.
