-Day 50, 9:30 PM
The Vice City Vipers have been moved to the University Casual #3 league in a reworking of the GLB system. The staff, in turn, has had to find many new players to stand a chance in this new league. However, they have managed to keep some players from last season. Among those players are QB Jacquill Miller, who threw for a career high 2,235 yards and 25 TDs, RB Flex Gordon, who ran for over 2400 yards, and WR John Dozer, who hauled in 21 TD passes. A weakness from last season was clearly the defense, which gave up over 3000 yards through the air and nearly 6000 yds on the ground to opposing teams. New additions CB DJ I'll House You and CB DJ Welcome to the Jungle along with an all new secondary should help turn around the pass defense woes from last year. The Vipers also added LB Lance Dale and DE Clyde Armstrong along with an all new D-line and LBs to help limit opponent's rushing attack. When asked about the off-season moves, the owner replied, "Yeah I looked at what happened last year, and tried to fill the gaps in our team. We are still recruiting new players, but the way this has turned out has been better then expected. We overhauled the defense and got players like [RB] Lamichael_James for_MVP and [QB] Bagpipe Hero to strengthen an already strong passing and rushing attack." When asked about how far they the team will go this season, the owner simply replied, "I could say that we will win the championship liked many other owners may say, but truthfully only time will tell."
