Here is my level 19/21 rush RDE:

Strength: 28.94
Blocking: 10
Speed: 31
Tackling: 24
Agility: 98 (+18)
Throwing: 10
Jumping: 10
Catching: 10
Stamina: 15.94
Carrying: 10
Vision: 31
Kicking: 10
Confidence: 15.94
Punting: 10

Containment abilities: 0,0,0,0,0
Pass Rush abilities: 1,1,1,1,1
*************************************************************

I guess I have 2 questions:

1) Now that I have agility up to 81 cap, should I move onto speed or strength or go another cap in agility? Does it matter which I do next speed or strength?

2) I've been quad training his entire career and I have the 20% upgrades in those categories that I'm quadding. Should I change to normal training for this upcoming season or stick with quadding? If I change, is it best to do intense or normal training?

TIA!

stay with quad

Start taking speed up, but keep including agility as part of quad train.

Personally I would circle cap speed and vision until you got vision to 61 cap though. Then circle cap speed and strength. (ex. strength to 48, speed to 68, strength to 61, speed to 73)

Thanks. Few questions about your comments.

First, my 4 quad training cats are: agility, speed, strength and vision.

With that in mind, what do you mean by circle cap?

After I boost at the end of the season, I'll have enough points to 2nd cap speed. Are you saying, then take vision to the 2nd cap. Then speed to the 3rd. Then vision to the 3rd (up to 61). Then do the same with strength. Is that what you are saying? If so, can you tell me why that method works better? If that isn't what you meant, can you please explain?

Thanks!

yes that is what I'm saying.

The reason is because you are quad training, and the best return on training is after you just hit a cap. The worst return on training is as you get closer to hitting the cap.

When thinking about maximizing your build, you have to remember that sometimes it is OK to spend more sp in one attribute if you are going to end up spending less in another.

If you cap in this order
2nd cap speed
2nd cap vision
3rd cap speed
3rd cap vision
1st cap strength
4th cap speed
2nd cap strength
5th cap speed

you will be maximizing your training % and you will hit caps faster on the front end, even though it isn't 1 attribute going straight up.

Personally, I would keep training agility until it got to 89/90 and then roll it over. If it is 30% enhanced, you get 7% per train. Those roll overs are going to occur somewhere between the 8:1 - 11:1 cap. That means you are getting a training value of .56 - .77 sp from that attribute per train without counting the BT gain.

I would stop training vision once it got to 63 or 64 and then just let it grow from there.

It means if you want to keep quad training after you are done with vision and agility you will need to pay 20 BT to add another attribute (tackling probably). Then you can quad train speed, strength, tackling and rotate confidence and stamina in the 4th spot. Once speed is 81, then you can keep training it and just cap strength up to 81 unless tackling gets to 38 then you may want to 1st cap it before you finish up on strength.

Wow, thanks Rage! Makes sense.

A lot of people say that 81 agility is enough and I was a little surprised you recommended taking it all the way up to 89/90. Any insight into that number?

you are only going to add about 3 more pts through the training. ALGs are going to take care of the rest. It's expensive if you are assigning sp that high, however, if you aren't assigning sp and just training while leveling, the training value is large enough that it is worth while IMO. In addition, you don't have to worry about when it is going to hit the next cap since you get the same training value from 81.5 - 90.5.

Thanks for the response, and now I'm even more confused, lol. Seems like you are saying to either use SP's if you aren't going to train it OR don't use SP's if I am going to continue training agility. Is that right?

Don't use SPs past 81, but continue training it until it gets to 89 or 90.

Good stuff Rage. Do you keep pumping in SP's past 81 on strength for your NTs? I had some good success in the VPB taking it to like 85-ish and then training through 90. It seemed to strike a balance between giving me high strength in the long term while still saving some SPs for elsewhere.

for NT - yes. I go to 83 or 85.

For players that I want 1 ridiculously high attribute on, I will also go back and normal train it later. You get 3% per train up until you hit 100. So you don't lose much if it grows from 90 to 95 or 96 and then go back and train later.
