I've been having trouble seeing results with this build. He's average at best at passing and horrible at scrambling. Is there anything I could do to see some results with this build?

I've been focusing on speed and agility lately but still to no avail, His passing stats seem decent so I don't really know why he's throwing so many incomplete passes, Should I raise his vision to help combat this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

well its pretty simple but a lot of people get it wrong when they begin the build. He's very good but isn't really a scrambling QB that can run for yards but he can scramble in the pocket well it seems. Speed should ALWAYS be the highest skill. Passing should be the 2nd fallowing vision and then agility/strength. You put too much skill into passing and should have put it into speed. They arent suppost to be extremely accurate. They scramble and that makes the defense move to them or pay the price. You can make the pass better then any scrambling QB I hhave seen but he can't make the defense pay for not keeping an eye on him. Work on speed until about 80-85.

it looks like you are aiming for a build like Tif da Cat:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2029000

the key is balance. cap the attributes one at a time, only to the next cap, and then repeat with the next att.
the 4 atts you need to train in this manner are:
speed
agility
vision
throwing

in terms of early career performance, this order will dominate. however, since speed is only a minor,
you will lose more in agility vision and throwing then you will gain in speed by doing that first.
however you can make the margin small if you are smart, and long term it might actually be beneficial,
since you can probably stop training speed for good once you reach 67 or 73 cap, and from there,
if the majority of EQ is in speed, will get it up to around 120, which seems great for any QB.
this is my first tho, so it might be best in the long run to sacrifice some early success running
to cap agility, throwing, and/or vision first.

but Tif da Cat shows no sign of slowing down so its working for me, having started with speed.
the key is in that agility and vision. both improve running and passing so they are key for a duel threat.
as your character grows, you want to fill in that strength and carrying as well. i capped strength at 48,
and now am working on the same for carrying. IMO confidence can wait till later, as can stamina
(still only have 16 which is working fine taking 65% of offensive snaps)

and don't forget, the OC needs to run the right scheme.
keys to this are having good receivers at HB FB and TE for quick passes, when teams blitz safeties and LBs outside,
using pass plays that encourage rolling out, using the QB rollout runs of course,
and using other plays in those same formations, with the same personal, to run inside and pass,
so they can't load up for the QB rollouts, or if they do the inside running and passing plays will make them pay.
Good Luck!
