I'm pretty sure BSBR didn't have much in Pump Fake at this point in the Season

It would be completely stupid if Pump Fake never fired. It IS supposed to work, just not to the crazy extent that it did last season. I really don't think it's overpowered.

Yeah that is not a streak nor were any of the other plays linked in the other thread with the exception of 1 and someone guessed that the FS was in zone not man...maybe or maybe not.....

I guess I missed the part where people think it got eliminated completely. It very much did so on streak routes against someone in man to man (they may show up but it is very rare). And they reduced the effectiveness of it. That to me says that the players don't get faked for as long. I would say that is certainly the case at the higher levels. And in Peewee for the most part. The difference is in Pee wee when someone gets faked they have a much harder time recovering so it is still pretty effective in peewee when it fires.

It is the LB who is always pump faked by the way.

I take it he is all speed and low vision and is not a CB/FS/SS who is normally covering receivers.

prolly had 2 or 3 in there at that point

Yeah I would agree that play does get Pump Fake to fire quite a bit. But I might disagree with the most. There are some other plays that can also fire as much. But it all depends on coverage, build of the QB, and build of the defender..........most importantly probably the build of the QB.

Even with only 1 point in pump fake, it'll fire sometimes.

Looks like he is set on aggressive and was trying to cut the pass off, but couldn't make the play.

Duh edit it was a closed scrim

Do yourselves a favor and stop asking for things to be 'fixed' . I'd love to see how much 'better' things could get
