Rules
1 No Custom Equipment and No Boosting
2 No CE allowed at anytime and will be DQed if found (screen shot as proof)
3 All games must use the playoff tie breaker rules
4 All games must be RANKED GAME

[v] Use playoff-style overtime rules
[ ] Enable home team abilities
[ ] Enable salary-based morale bonuses
I know there has been a similar tournament/league like this one in the past that was posted publicly (I remember bleeds/gutterade winning it) So I'm sure this wouldn't be a problem. But just in case I want to make sure that I'm not trying to make everyone go no/no or threaten them in anyway which I know is against the rules here. Remember, The rules ONLY apply for this tournament and not in general
I do business myself and I know how things work. I deal with customers everyday. If we didn't have guys buying flex solely for PW we wouldn't be having rental CE or other benefits PW enjoyed in the past. I know a lot of people are complaining about the nerf to passing but I'm sure it will be fixed and they will listen to us like the rental CE as long as there is there is profit in PW.
The reason why I'm doing this is I really do think this can help PW grow bigger. PW is definitely dying and obviously the inconsistency in the sim has played a big part but also you have newer inexperienced guys move up to gold league and spend a fortune only to struggle to a point where they end up quitting the very next season. It's unfortunate because these guys have a lot of potential.
Since it doesn't cost much to build a 55-man roster (no/no) this would help the newer guys get their feet wet before they try out for gold. Since they'll be more prepared, it's very unlikely they'll get blown away once they move up to gold and will likely remain in gold for a longer period of time. Also, just looking at the copper leagues, there are like 30 cpu teams. With a tournament/league like this, it'll definitely help the elite owners buy a 2nd team (and a good reason to keep them permanent) just to test out their pure coordinating skills without the management part in gold which in my experience can be a lot more important and time consuming for teams with multiple agents.
All in all, this would be good for PW and for GLB. This won't have any affect in gold league since people will continue to buy CE and boost there (adding me as long as they don't get rid of or limit DPC) or silver league teams that are aiming to make it to gold. This will only bring in more agents to PW, produce more quality coordinators (thus the tournament name) and produce more revenue. Again, this would be beneficiary to both Bort and his PW customers.
Now that we got the sensitive part across
let's get ready for this tournament. I'm definitely going to expand this next season but since it's little bit late for this season we'll first try out a simple a 16 man or even a 8 man tournament (if we don't have enough participants). If you want to sign up for this tournament, just reply to this thread and link your team. If you accidentally bought a CE for couple of players (less than 5) this will be accepted just for this season only since a lot of teams aren't prepared for this. Just make sure you have them unequipped before the game.
Again this is to encourage the elite teams to buy a 2nd team to test out their pure coordinating skills and also help out the newer guys get interested in PW! I have no other agenda than to keep PW alive which is slowly dying every season. Join up everyone!

I put gators in the reserve list just to give other team a chance first. But if there is a spot left later on, I'll let your other team in. This is to make sure that the tournament isn't made up of only 3-4 owner.
