Beautiful.

Holy shit am I annoyed that I picked an archetype for mine because I bought their lie about forcing an archetype on young dots who didn't choose one.

The biggest super team will be a team comprised of dline/oline pre archtype and skill position post. Can't wait to see that

Is he gonna make 72?

Only gonna have 2 more boosts (6 levels plus 50 days of XP) should allow him to get to 69, so might be good. So that gives him essentially 55 SP left. More agi will put a hurting on his speed, unless of course you only want it capped.

I'm gonna miss centers like this

I'm honestly surprised more people haven't complained about this (not that they'd do anything about it)

The players this age were always clearly under the archetype cut, and it was pretty obvious, so I don't think there is much to get worked up about here.

I think a lvl 61 now would be able to get to lvl 70.1 before his final boosts up to 72. In that case it is probably best tanking XP for a few games to finish at 69.95, and in the process get more training points.

You're forgetting that centers suck, and DT's also didn't have to pick an ALG so its a wash

Most centers suck because they are too slow.

150 strength 100 blocking 90 agility 70 speed does fine

150 strength 85 blocking 100 agility 75 speed would probably do even better.

Both of my MPHD centers are equal or better than option 1 in attributes and I can't say that I am greatly impressed :/

maybe you expect too much from them. IMO, they do better than most if not all WL Cs I've seen against the top DTs.

If expecting too much = pancaking a 70 strength linebacker than consider me pip

Lots of DTs did pick an AT though. Then again so did a bunch of kicker and punter builders.

to pancake a 70 strength LB, C would have to be blocking a 70 strength LB. How many times per SIM do you see a C actually make a block on a LB?

In addition to just getting to LB, you then have to consider momentum of players and whether or not the LB is fast/agile enough to avoid being blocked full on.

I judge how well a C is doing by whether or not he is engaging in the block he needs to and if he is able to hold that block long enough for either the QB to throw the ball or HB to get past the person the C is blocking.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=1491860&pbp_id=8343353 - great block by C
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=1491860&pbp_id=8343500 - bad block by C
