What I a good additional ability? Nothing really seems to be a good fit....

There's always AOI, with CB's playing close to the LOS, they can put a confidence hit on the WR. Other ones I've seen are:
Wrap-up
Jack Hammer

Also depends on what type of CB you want to play, hard hitter - go with a monster hit, or something like that, blitzing CB - blitz or disguise blitz, Zone CB - zone specialist.

I've never seen people dump a lot of points into the extra ability, mainly because there are so many necessary ones like SV, SDC, SB and closing speed.

If you're a coverage CB the only one to consider is Zone Focus. Regardless, you probably won't be putting many sps there if any.

This. CB's pretty much got all the abilities they use already. One of those rare positions.

How about for a Man Specialist, Still Zone Focus??

That's the same thing.

Diving tackle.... gives you a chance to make a play in both the run game, but also the pass game if you miss a deflect roll / out of position.

now, whether or not you have enough SP's to put any points there, that is a different question...

meh... CBs dont get ALGs in strength anymore (unless you go the HH CB route), and so the usefulness of JH is fairly limited.

I always go diving tackle.

Doubt it will get any points in it till post 60, but hey, it seemed the most marginally useful option.
