You're still young so they'll probably do their very best to eliminate it completely. If you don't mind me asking, what type of cancer is it?

Good stuff TCR. For whatever it's worth, I haven't smoked a cigarette since you started this thread. Pack a day smoker for 15 years.

Hope you can keep it up. My wife quit cold turkey quite a few years back, so it is possible.

TCR, thanks for the update and prayers are still going out for ya.

Don't mind, the problem is I will not know for sure until they finish all testing. It is in the upper right lung which we learned from a cat scan I had done since the mass started causing nerve problems in my right shoulder. What I did the other day was to go through the emergency room at MD to speed up the process. Now they are setting up all the other test to nail the type. severity and treatment.

Thats a horrible thing to hear, but do not despair. Might be something benign. And they have alot of ways to zap and remove these things these days either way. And there is always prayer, for health and healing and perspective. You have mine. Just keep your spirits up. God Bless.

Seems like I will have a little reprieve while they decide on the best form of attack. They kicked me out this morning and want to run some more test so it looks as if i'll be around for another week while I run back and forth to MD Anderson.

Well, damn. Luckily for you you're going to one of the best cancer hospitals in the world. Good thing you live in Houston.
