hope this helps.
although I'll be honest..with all the DE's I have built, there is something about this particular position that just eludes me for some reason. but I generally build decent dots

and also I'm going to be a bit vague with my advice and numbers. best way to learn is experiment and see what works along with taking some advice with a grain of salt.

anyways.
as a combo DE your majors are speed, agility, vision, and tackling. so I wouldnt make him a strength based DE.
I would take speed or agility to 68 while you train other stuff. probably want to save BT's till you get 30 so you can unlock 3 attributes to multi train.

oh, and DO not spend any points on any SA's till around lvl 45-55 or so !!!!!!!!!

depending on what you want to end up with I would choose 3 abilities like stamina confidence vision or maybe even str .
then multi train those three along with whatever your going to raise next.
so for example lets say you decide to take speed up first. then I would multi train agility, stamina, confidence, vision for a season. when you get speed to somewhere your happy with , probably around 74-82 ( this is me being vague on purpose )
then you would want to have agility trained to 90-99% and stop before you start putting points into it and take it to a fairly high number like 73-80 .
by now you should be in or towards the end of your second season and still multi training, swithc to multi training tackling, stamina, vision, confidence.

train tackling or vision up to 30 something and leave it at 90-99% before taking whichever is higher to 60-68.
by now you should be in 3'rd season. switch multi training to str, sta, conf, whatever or even go to normal if needed for whichever you didnt just cap of vision or tackling ( probably want higher tackling than vision)

and start thinking about training str. switch to training on normal if str is still under 30 and get it to 35-40 and leave it trained to 90-99% before starting to put points in str. take str to 70-85 .
by now you should be in 4;th season.
start training on light from now on.
the purpose of training something to 90-99% before you start to drop SP's inot is is because later on your going to be able to train it that last little bit and get the equivelant of 4-11 SP's out of it instead of dropping SP's into it.

then work on stamina and some confidence and then jumping, or something like that.

again. I'm not being very specific. just kinda a little guidance for yah.

also dont worry about any AEQ for awhile. just buy regular EQ and put it all into speed or agility for now.

you can switch up later and move points around as you start to get AEQ.
which you'll probably want at least 2 pieces of break block % AEQ, and then 1 or 2 others with an SA like tunnel vision or something.

this was just my opinion/scattered advice.

Use the Pass rusher AT. build on day 40 or 41. Train agility or speed Whichever you perfer. Personally I like agility, but you can do whatever you like. Train it on Normal Until its 34 with 90-99% trained and buy 1 sp with bts. When you have that at 35 you add your 15sps that you did not sped when creating it and cap that attribute. With the rest of your bts (which should be around 30) you should buy multi-training for your next 4 attributes. from there pump your first attribute to 77, then when that is over work on your next.

Generaly people go 77/77/77 with Agility, speed, and strength. If you're a skilled builder and efficent with your training you can even push them to 81. It takes a little time. I started out by making 1 DE each year and retiring the last one after a couple seasons. It made me more aware of what the future had to bring.

there are a lot of good DE builders, so don't be afraid to ask for help when ya need it.
