Without boosting you'll never have enough SP's to make a Barry Sander dot, so if I were you I'd focus on Speed up to 68 and put all of your EQ in speed, then agi to 68, then carrying to 62, train stamina and confidence and aim for ~40 of each end build

points in juke, hf, spin, quick cut, and first step.
I personally don't like Open Field Fake, but a lot of people do so i won't give you any advice for, or against OFF.

I'm thinking you invested in SA's too early, but that's a matter of preference. I like to wait until lvl 40, minimum, before adding SA's. Getting your caps out of the way is just so important.

non-boosters can't make it to level 50... 40 is just fine for a non-booster.

You want him to be more like Barry Sanders............retire him because that's as close as you'll ever get to Barry Sanders with that dot.
