i am trying to bulid a poss WR, but is it worth it to put a couple of points into the first 2 in the speedster tree?

and being the 4th WR on my team, should i try and speed to about 50? and whats more important, agility or vision

I would say vision is more important, and it's good to put point into the first 2 catagories of both trees, just not until around lvl 10. Focus on fundamentals until then.

GLB moderator told me vision does not help wide recievers at all - has no effect on if they will play better or not

That's weird. Considering that tpaterniti's player guide and newb help lists Vision as an important stat for WR's

http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=6371 read a little down you will find this :

Speed WR

Key Physical Attributes: Speed, Agility
Other Important Physical Attributes: Catching, Vision, Jumping
Special Abilitites: Important – Focus on Speedster abilities
Other Advice: Be patient as it may take a few levels for this type of WR to be very effective.
Ideal Backup Position: KR/PR
Example of a Good Build: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=46998

Possession WR

Key Physical Attributes: Catching, Agility, Speed
Other Important Physical Attributes: Jumping, Vision, Confidence
Special Abilitites: Important – Focus on Possession Receiver abilities
Other Advice: 17 or 18 Jumping should be enough until level 8 or 9. Even though he is a possession WR, do not neglect speed entirely or it will be very easy for a fast DB to shut him down. Consider adding a few points to First Step and Quick Cut too (in the Speedster tree) as this will help him run routes better.
Ideal Backup Position: None
Example of a Good Build: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=152462.

Balanced WR

Key Physical Attributes: Catching, Agility, Speed
Other Important Physical Attributes: Jumping, Vision
Special Abilitites: Important – Focus on the first 2 abilities in each tree
Other Advice: Focus on the first 2 abilities in each tree (First Step, Quick Cut - will help you run routes better, Run Route, and Sticky Hands). Put a points in Catching before you put points in the Sticky Hands ability as Catching will have a bigger effect. He also needs a good amount of speed and agility to allow him to get open in the passing game. 17 or 18 Jumping should be enough until level 8 or 9. Speed and agility are key for any WR, but you can work on them at a slower pace and add points to Catching at about the same pace to build a solid all-around WR.
Ideal Backup Position: None
Example of a Good Build:http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=73885

No , it's not a key attribute , but seems like you have a mild case of BS .

The reason for my long - and annoying post of course (ARGH reading makes my head hurt) - was that he was posting it in other threads as well , so I think I just got a little annoyed .

But glad to see you actually understood that , homsar :/
