If there are no objections to any of the projected rules then I'm gonna go ahead and make the league within a week.

I have a suggestion. There are way too many players for one league. In my opinion the optimal number of players for a fantasy football league is 10 and 12 at the max.

What if we create several leagues that all use the same scoring system. Then at the end of the year if you win the league you are like conference champions. All the superbowl teams on each team face off the same week as the superbowl where whichever team wins their super bowl and has the most points out of all the superbowl champions wins the whole thing.

So lets say 30 people want to play, thats three 10 man leagues. At the very end 3 teams will win the superbowl and out of those 3 whoever has the most fantasy points for that week wins the whole thing.

It's either that or you just have one massive 20 man league where you have with mostly scrubs who play mostly on special teams which wouldn't be that fun in my opinion. Plus there would probably be more than 20 people in BBB#15 who want to play who get left out.

I'm in, but 20 teams makes it way to thin. Pretty much whoever gets LT or Brady, wins the league. We could have 2 twelve man teams through week 15, and have the champ from each league square off in week 16 manually. I have the excel software set up to do it from my leagues. It would be cool to have a 12 man team from the east and one from the west.

I just read the post above mine. Sorry about that, pretty much the same concept.

Eh, not really, the first few people who choose don't get to select again for 30-40 more picks. So everyone else gets 2 players before they pick up their next player, and it probably won't be a superstar.

It'll probably only be like 12 people who actually join the league anyways. Right now there are 17 people on the list, I'll send PM's to each of them soon and see who is still interested.

You may be right, but from my experience using value based drafting, it holds true. In yahoo in 2006, 85% of Tomlinson owners won their league in leagues over 16 teams, and I bet the 2007 stats were similar with Brady owners. I do, however, love fantasy football hopefully I will get a high draft pick or will be more parity with the stud players this year.

well, perhaps its true that if you pick the best player in fantasy football for that season you win something like 85% of the time, however, how many people do you think used the #1 or 2 overal pick on Tom Brady last year? A high pick doesnt guarantee success.

We were a qb heavy league last year and I had the first overall so after I got LT I picked up Brady 31 picks later, and Moss next (also PPR)

Exactly. Larry Johnson = perfect example. Didn't score for 8 weeks.
