have decided to ask for a demotion to level 4 cap before the start of next season, so we will not be part of O Pro Zeta anymore. The reasons are numerous. Our recent lack of success is not the main one, but I would be lying if I said that it did not factor into our decision.

It was tremendous fun up here with all of you. I will miss the lively league forums, and the interactions with classy owners and GMs from other teams. If you're interested in contributing to the "Red Stars Reloaded," please PM me. Feel free to contact any of our current players if you want them on your team next season. Or contact me, if you want my help in convincing them to join your squad (which I will only do if I know you from these forums). Since I only announced our upcoming demotion a couple of days ago, please make sure to explain why you are contacting them.

Best of luck for the playoffs and the upcoming seasons. We will be back eventually, but it might take a while. I will make sure to check back in here from time to time to follow developments around the league.

Agreed with all of the above. Berlin was one of our main rivals in recent years and it was tough to see them go from top 4 to middle of the pack. But bte was always classy.

To be a top team it really is a ton of work. A ton.

Agreed, in my two seasons here I have a lot of respect for you guys. The way you guys handled yourselves and clawed back last season after some tough games I found myself always rooting for u! Good luck on the new team and I'm sure you guys will be back up in no time.

Good luck with the rebuild.

It's great that there still is that little bit of desire to focus on owning and coaching as well as the time to do it. We've rebuilt once and the best advice I can give is be prepared for casualties. I'd factor in up to 35% of your rebuild roster to either leaving the game prior to reaching AAA or going rouge with the build despite what plan was set in place. That was one of the biggest obstacles for us. I'd also limit each agent to no more than 2 players each

+1. We lost roughly one agent per season because they quit GLB during our 7 season rebuild from cap 13 to Pro. Thus, I would be careful having more than 4 or 5 players from a single agent unless you are 100% sure they are in it for the long haul

Really hate to see teams reboot like this.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words, not only in this thread but also via PM. This kind of makes me want to stay, but the decision is final. We will ask for a demotion. The new team is coming along nicely, even though everything is still a bit chaotic at this point.

Several of you have offered and will be building dots for the Red Stars Reloaded, so, in a way, our O Pro tradition will live on even in the Minors, which I find a really nice thing
