For my NT I am going 2 BB% and 1 line general...
and for my DT I am going 2 BB% and Shed block....

but what is good for a 4th piece? Make Tackle%? Or Shed block for my NT and Break Thru for my DT?

Whats your archetype? I assume DT is Pass Rusher and NT is Run Stuffer? Id stack the BB% as you said. Then Id do Strong Base combined with Pocket Crusher and Bull Rusher VAs for the NT. DT Id need more info but a Force Fumble % or Tunnel Vision piece wouldnt hurt anything. Just max out Stonewall VA and Wall to help on rushing plays.

Make tackle, wall, breakthrough, shed block are all good choices. So is first step and diving tackle.

They are the best archetype: none at all.

I have first step and TV on my older DTs... and never really saw a difference how fast they move.

Honestly, in my personal opinion, I wouldn't have gotten a second BB piece for your NT.

Depends on the kind of league your players are in. If it's more competitive, go with Make Tackle for both.

If the leagues are not as competitive and making tackles/tackle radius are not as much of an issue, other routes will be more marginally beneficial:
DT: First Step or Tunnel Vision
-- This assumes First Step is already a bonus SA.

NT: Break Through, Strong Base, or Wall (though I'd lean toward the first two because this is the first ability in the tree)
-- Maxed Stone Wall, Bull Rusher, and at least some points in Pocket Crusher could really make this beast.

This is such terrible information.

Make tackle% does not affect tackle radius.

Agree that this is terrible advice......don't think twice about getting the second piece of BB...it's a must

I have a Combo Tackle with 2BB,1FF and 1MT Chance item.

ShedBlock and BreakThrough are both important to me as well but I think it's possible to bring BreakThrough and ShedBlock to 8 with normal SPs and hope that will be enough. Actually I don't see any difference since I got the MT piece. But if you have enough SPs left I would always take a percentage bonus.

FirstStep or other Bonus SAs are nice or they are not nice but you don't have to think about it because you can't afford if the players natural build is like it should be.

2BB is a must to break blocks (O_o) what's the first thing a DT/NT needs to do if he wants to make a play? BREAK A BLOCK. For me a nobrainer. If you can't break the block you wont have a chance to tackle, force a fumble, hurry/sack the QB or swat the ball down.

My Opinion: Move your percentage up to make a play

To Oofty: I'm not a guy who writes a lot here, 'cause I think there are a lot more dots who can play this game better than I do. Think of that as you made 1 DT in your whole live who was retired at lvl 11. Your highest leveled player ever is lvl 58. You can't advice here even if your AA League DE doesn't look that bad for a parttime booster. But he is just not a DT.

So to all the others: If somebody gives you an advice always look it up if it's worth reading.
