The thing is that he is quitting, giving up, walking away from something he spent years building up.
I do not have the time to run the OT, not at all. But I can't see just deleting and writing off years of effort and preparation. I'll keep the team going as at high a level as I can. Eventually I either figure out how to squeeze it into the schedule more (and what the heck to do!) or I find a good OC DC team.

Having been around CJ for as long as I have I can flat out tell you that is not his MO. No way he would do this thing half assed. Though I am sad to se him and the team go I am glad he will still be around in a capacity that suits him. One of the true good dudes I have met ni this game and had the pleasure of interacting with.
This. It's not in my nature to just exist @ the Pro level nor do I find it fair to the players who have spent real money to boost every season. It's not that there aren't fun aspects of the game, there are. Personally, if there were 30 hours in a day, I'd enjoy the coordinating aspect a hell of a lot more.
As far as writing off years of effort.... That's just not true. We all had a blast while it was going full throttle. Also, keep in mind that making it to Pro used to be a bigger accomplishment than it currently is. Take a look around. How many teams have "earned" a spot @ the pro level? This is not to say that everyone who is here doesn't deserve to be, there are a hell of a lot of great teams, great coordinators, and well-oiled machines across the board. The fact is though, with so many teams disbanding, rebuilding, and moving around the current promotion system has teams being bumped up to the next level every season... some well before they should be. If I have the urge, and time, to take on the responsibility again I'm sure we'll have just as much fun making the climb.
Thanks for the kind posts (and PM's) fellas.
