The Rekohu Raptors are starting over next season (if you haven't guessed it from what's been happening to the roster this season or my inactivity int he forums). We've been trying to make it without a farm system after having to turnover our entire original roster from when we started in Oceania A8 in season 4. We managed to exceed my expectations and make the play-offs our first season up here, but since then we've been awful and working so hard to recruit half a roster only to have no chance of making the play-offs has lost its appeal.

With that in mind, next season we've decided to drop to level 4 minors and start over with our dedicated agents. I know we've made a few friends here in the past, so I was wondering if anyone here might be interested in contributing a player or two. The plan is to have 55 players now who we know will stick with us for their career (assuming we deliver as promised).

Best of luck to you. Devonport was re-built from the ground up in Season 9/10 and we have managed to keep the vast majority of our players and agents from level 13 - 20 until now. Thus, it is possible to do it and to be successful.

I do not envy you, however, as after 17 seasons I do not think I would have the energy to start over again. Hopefully the fresh start will work for you.

Sin City is also starting over but we started last season. We are still try to give it the good old college try here in Pro but we almost feel like we are on cruise control waiting for those new players. Next season will be our last with our current roster be it in Pro again or WL (which I doubt).. Good Luck to you Raptors and I am sure we will see each other again.
