I wouldn't have picked Streaky until you could put significantly more points into it. On my lower level players where they don't yet meet prerequisites for the VAs that I want, I tend to go with Clutch and Second Wind.

He does not have to. Its obvious why you would not want to choose that one.

streaky is not a good choice for a FS, if you have a bad day you could be the one letting in the game winning TD... clutch is alright until you can afford something better.

i love having clutch on my dots while in the minors and A while i don't care as much about them just so if they make a play on 3rd down i can pretend it was the VA and say CLUTCH. other than that it's hard to find room for clutch on most dots

things to consider about clutch on safeties:
1- How many 3rd downs are there in the game?
2- how many 3rd downs is that safety in on (divide by 2 for most 2man rotations)
3- how many of those 3rd downs that 1safety is in on are pass as opposed to run plays?
4- how many of those 3rd down passes that the FS happens to be in on are thrown to a position that he can even make a play on?
When you figure out that number most the time i think it's quite low. While i think clutch is an interesting VA and good at times, it's tough to invest in imo when you consider that. Perhaps if you went clutch with every secondary player or at least the starters and then force starters on 3rd down. But definitely want to consider those 4 points above

clutch is good for a FS
IF he is the starter. otherwise won't see many 3rd down situations...
if you aren't a starter then special teamer VA is good.
streaky is awful for a FS. one bad play on his part can cost big time.
i see you missed about 20% of your tackles last season.
sure tackler therefore would be a quality choice.
as a hard-hitter, long term you'ld be better with power tackler IMO-
but your Atts at this point ain't good enough for that.
as a hard-hittin safety, i'd personally li8ke to see more agility and tackling ability.
its hard to know what VA would be best long-term, cuz i can't figure what your long-term strategy is...
