Reading through the VA descriptions, I was wondering if the bonus described in Stone Wall was essentially a +1% "avoid pancake" bonus.

well if you lose the push back roll the next roll is pancake, if you hold that roll they never get a pancake roll, so in a way it is a 1% avoid pancake roll roll.

I think the way in which it is an avoid pancake roll has more to do with the 15% chance to avoid being knocked down.
Regardless, if your d line is getting pancaked urdoinitwrong. And LBs have better uses for VAs.
