discuss. My HB averages 9.4 YPC over his 3 season career. does that mean anything?

It means that on average, he got 9.4 yards on a catch tbh.

i know how you feel... my HB one season had an average 17.2 yards per carry, and he only averaged 14 yards a game.. i thought that was funny... but that season he was like 3rd string or something and only got 13 carry's all season long

i understand its only minors but is it a good measuring stick on his skills?

1) obvious tip. Switch to blow out adjusted stats.

2) It only works as a measuring stick against rb's in your own conference and on your team. The defence you play against will varry a lot from one conference to another. If everyone on your team is getting 9 ypc than you probably have a good line and play a cpu team or 3.

the answer is no, its not a very good measure of anything early on.

Here is a stat I would like to see, YAFC yards after first contact, for those of us that are breaking tackles. if you average just one extra yard it would be cool to see a running total each season!!!
