Giants lost to many people on defense. They won their superbowl because of their defense. They did have that lucky stretch but yeah.. they still suck.

Matt Schaub will be healthy, and if something happens we do have Sage, sounds like someone has a case of QB envy.

Swiss cheese O-line.....no more. We have solidified that line, regardless of what the national media may regurgitate. And we brought in Alex Gibbs as the OL coach, you may also know him as the mastermind behind the Zone Blocking Scheme. He installed it in Denver, you know the one Terrell Davis and Clinton Portis ran behind. He also installed in Atlanta during the Dunn-Vick-Duckett combo of running that was a top five rushing team while he was there. This is what will keep ole Schauby upright and going off at the arm to one Andre Johnson.

And as far as running backs, we have them lined up around the corner...if Ahman can't make it, then Chris Brown, if he can't make it then Steve Slaton, if he can't make it then Darius Walker......at some point the law of averages has to come into play and we have to actaully keep people healthy.....Ahman is way overdue *crosses fingers*.....Slaton is very productive. And we have this no name guy, Chris Taylor who has gotten very high praise but did not see the field last year because of a torn ACL in TC.....so, if that doesn't work, we are going to get Cedric Benson an intervention and recruit Shaun Alexander, and every other retread on the planet that can't hack it.....but as God is my witness, we will have a DAMN running game....damn it.

Thats where people are mistaken we lost two back up LB..witch we got in the draft..we lost a not so great safety and got a better one and we have been prepared for Strahan to retire for years now. We are still in a good shape to win a good amount of games.

as a dallas fan i hate to agree with reppin, but its true. You guys saw that young kid justin tuck get screwed out of the superbowl mvp last year. Giants do have some great defensive players that are young and can play. Do i think they'll repeat? Of course not, but they'll be good.

yeah, I think the Falcons will be okay with Ryan given time, I can't for the life of me understand why the Bears have not adressed the position. Are they really going to count on Rex again this year? Maybe it's a lack of options on the market, as a good solid QB is hard to find.

lol, its simple really , the bears are cheap! they dont want to pay anyone the big bucks. Lovie smith got them to the super bowl and they didn't even want to pay him. Thats why they haven't brought in a real qb

Every team has a bad game..and who made the playoffs who didnt? So you cant say overall the Vikings are better.

Any team has a chance to do it and Justin Tuck had 10 sacks at the DT spot..thats really good put him in the DE spot where he orginally played or keep him there and put Knewuka(however u spell his name) and were solid. We have many options for the DE place to fill his shoes. Will we get the defensive leadership..of course now..there has also been plans to trade for Jason Taylor giving the Dolphins Shockey and a 2nd round(witch I hope we dont do)because in another 2-3 years we will need to fill those shoes again. We were prepared for Strahans absence before he even knew he was going to retire. Either way we got a shot just like every other team does.

Oh and for the Schaub+Andre Johnson comment..I have Andre Johnson in my fantasy league..and look what he did in the first three games with Schaub when they were both healthy before Andre got injured. They were amazing tearing it up. Now Andre had time to heal and so did Schaub. If they both can stay healthy Texans will put a run into the playoffs next year and expect Andre to be top 3 for WR's next year. Look at what he did in the first couple games he was there. I cant recall off the top of my head but he was definitely top 5.

Well, I never said anything about the Vikings being better overall the last few seasons, just that the Vikings absolutely dominate the Eli-led Giants of the last few years.

Baltimore Ravens ring a bell?

couldn't the same be said about the Bears? Everyone is blowing them off, but last year they were injury riddled. If they stay healthy on D, they win their division easy. but go ahead and blast me, whatever, I'm a Bears fan so I'm used to it. BTW, the Vikings D is never scary.....

The Bears defense is no where near as good as they used to be in the early 2000s. Now, MAYBE if their D was healthy and their offense could do anything other than walk off the field after 3 plays, they would have a chance at the division crown. However, they have absolutely no offense to speak of. The Vikings at least have one of the most dominant running games in the NFL to go along with a below average passing game.

Bad QB=struggles. Bad QBs+No WRs=fail. Bad QBs+No WRs+Injury plagued D=2008 Chicago Bears.

I'm very excited to see how well your rookie LT can handle Jared Allen.
