4/4 Week 1 Krakatoan Red Warriors at the Medan Marauders WIN 21-20

During the after game press conference, Coach Sulfadias was asked about the season opener, where many had expected the Red Warriors offense to be much more effective against a considerably weaker defensive opponent.

Coach: " Alot has been said in the media the last couple of days regarding who will be the starting QB for our week 2 home opener against the Tokyo Thunder. Its a gut reaction for folks to blame the QB, but I don't think thats fair. We had some execution issues and strayed from our game plan, and for that I'll take responsiblity. I felt that with as many weapons as we have on offense, we'd be able to really take it to our opponent! As far as who will start game 2... both QB's will get equal play time with the 1st unit in practice and we'll evaluate the situatuion further. I haven't ruled out a week two switch."

When asked how he felt about coming away with the victory:

Coach: "A win is a win, we'll take it. They aren't always pretty but I think the guys showed a lot of character today. Our depth on this football team is a real strength and really showed as some of our back ups came in and made big plays when it counted. Special teams also played well! We're just happy to come out of it with a tough win on the road. Now all of our focus is on our up coming home opener against the Thunder. Thank you.

4/5 - The Associated Press reports that WR Dirk Calloway, formerly of the Krakakoan Red Warrior football team has been traded to the Chicago Enforcers of the USA AA division. In return, the Krakakoan's received WR David Konteh, an excellent young WR whom is expected to become a fan favorite with his brand of football. Several GM's in the Southeast Asian conference were reported to have said off the record that the move has put the Red Warriors into a position to win the league championship this year!

4/6 Home Win against the Tokyo Thunder 23-10

During the after game press conference, Coach Sulfadias was asked about how the team was able to bounce back from a close call on the road in Week 1.

Coach: "Last week was somewhat of a learning experience. We have alot of new folks around here and it was just a matter of some added practice with WR's working on timing and our defensive players getting on the same page. We spread the ball around and got everyone involved. The defense played great, holding a team that had rushed for 266 yards in week one to a mere 66 yards. Offensively we did not turn the ball over and and played sound, fundamental football. A great win, but lets not get ahead of ourselves, theres still 3 games to play and we're taking it one game at a time."

Reporter: "Coach, did all the talk coming from some of the Tokyo players about them being the team to beat in the Southeast Asia AA conference influence or motivate your players?"

Coach: "Look, this is a competitive game, if they didn't think they are going to win every time they come out on that field, they are in the wrong sport. I think they were a bit cocky coming into this game after a strong 31-17 win in week 1. Fine by me, we used this to our advantage. We don't pay any attention to what other team's players have to say. We take each game one at a time and our players have the maturity and the passion to focus on the fundamentals that makes us a successful team."

Reporter: "Coach, there was talk of a QB controversy after the week 1. After todays performance, who are you planning on starting in week 2?"

Coach: "Nancy is it? You saw the game today, I think its safe to say that Brevin's play earned him another start this week. That being said... at every position across the board, no one's job is safe. I expect everyone to continue to improve and fight for play time, that is the kind of tenacity and drive I want on my football team. Thank you."
