for sure! the primary goal of a WR is to catch the ball!

How does catch % really work though? Does catch % have any influence on the QB's throws? For example, a pass that could not ordinarily be caught due to something happening with the QB, is it now more likely to be caught with catch % AEQ?
Likewise, what effect does this have to contradict a CB's deflect ball %?
It simply seems to me to be a insurance policy against dropped balls. If your WR has high enough catching and does not drop often, then why bother with this? Get your catching to 68.

I just don't see how catch % is nearly as good to a WR as say, Pass quality % would to a QB. What I mean is, it doesn't seem to be an essential.
Why would Juke not be a great AEQ for WRs considering it is so expensive?

Catch ball% and catching do more than prevent drops. The higher your catching (and catch%) is the more likely you are to catch a ball when competing with the CB. A least thats my understanding.
