i welcome you to point out any major flaws in either LH's or my own proposed builds.,, or heck even come up with one yourself. i promise i wont call you a scrub.

but just posting to call people and this forum scrubs neither gives advice/helps the OOP in any way, or helps this forum cleanse itself of its scrub-ness.

What would these cbs be doing, they wouldn't be in coverage well so how would they be used by a DC?

Why wouldn't they do well in coverage? But as for what they would be doing is playing in a base zone defense that would allow them to sit back and close in on the WR when the pass is made. The KL role is essentially the same thing as the FF roll (including VAs, FF AEQ, and tackle style), which is what they are built for. Max size + high tackling + high strength + high momentum (high speed + BH) + Jack Hammer + FF% AEQ + Power Tackler VA + power tackling style = extremely high KL and FF scores. Since most WRs go lower strength/carry (the anti-KL/FF skills), in theory the build should work well. The problem is that builds like these haven't been possible until archetypes were implemented (so we won't get to see how they work until season 15 dots hit the mid-60s/plateau), and JH just recently became an SA, so it is hard to say how well it works.

^they would be best utilized as LH brought up. zone defense. heck, you could probably even then take a few more points out of agility and put them in speed in that case. but i dont think they would do poorly in man coverage. their weight could slow them down, but even then, they are running with 125-130 speed, which is pretty much right on par with what man specs will be running with. the only difference is that man specs will have higher jumping, and HHs will have higher strength and tackling.

You would put them in zone as 12th corners and hope they can sneak in from the sidelines and pop.

I'm building a hard hitting SS. I've seen a few who have had tremendous success, albeit several seasons ago, so it remains to be seen how effective they'll be in the current GLB environment.

well HH SSs were/are a lot easier to make. for one, there are many more strong TEs than there are strong WRs, so you can bring strength up higher than a CB can because having more strength will allow you to successfully cover more TEs. And then the SAs available to an SS are probably the best out there when it comes to Hs. CB dont really have anything, and so they have to get out of tree SAs.
