Did you start him off as light or almost as light as possible so he got a speed bonus of 1.5 - 2?
Did you take speed to 25 with the initial 15 pts before accepting the build?
Did you put the rest of the pts in either agility or carrying?

Did you save the 15 sp you get to assign after accepting?

If the answer to any of these questions is no, then it is not a good start.

The initial ones you get before you finish creating your player.

After you create your player, keep the other 15 until you can get the attribute to 49.
