As a non booster, once your player is about 250-280 days old.

should I only put sp into sa's once i start putting them into sa's or should i still put some in attributes?

If I am understanding you correctly... the logic of building a player does not change once you decide to start putting points into SA's. The earlier you cap skills the more you will benefit from natural increases to those skills in the long run from normal leveling. This is why many argue for varying degrees of patience before putting points into SA's. Of course at some point if you don't put those points into SA's then the benefit is reduced to a very small window of your career. At level 30 I might hold off just a little while. At Pro and WL your attributes are more important than massive SA's I have found out the (somewhat) hard way.
