I've got a chance to pick up a piece of AEQ that gives the following:
+3 Speed, +1 Break Through

I've built a run-stuffing MLB. Would the Break Through SA benefit him enough to consider buying this piece? Anyone ever try this SA on a LB?

no, probably not. its only going to help you break double team blocks, and i dont think LBs get enough double team blocks to make it worthwhile.

In a 3-4 defense it may come in handy but there is much better out there like zone focus SV shed block D general make tackle %

Break through is great for a DT, ok for a DE, and terrible for everybody else. It just won't activate unless you line up on the line of scrimmage.

Although with the new archetypes, you could build a defense with a LB position that lined up on the LOS since you can make one as strong and agile as a DL. Play a 3-4. Shift the defensive line to the weakside. Put RDE outside LOT, nose over C, LDE over RG, and LILB between ROT and TE. Then shift the RILB and ROLB strong side.

all true but I don't think anybody that has to ask whether it's worth it is going to be going through all that.
