JTS isn't going to do didly squat for a ROLB BLITZER. you want to really jam? Get some first step up to 10+ and get your jumping and agility up some more. More speed wouldn't hurt either. Tell your DC to set you wide on the line. None of the v.a.'s you listed in the op will help you much.

I'm actually considering 2-3 VPs in JtS, even with about 80 vision he still missed the first two ticks post snap in a preseason game. But FS would be a huge difference...just have to decide whether to add it as an SA or AEQ I guess, I can probably get it to 5 if I add it as an SA, maybe 4 with AEQ.

I am not completely convinced JTS is shit for that. If you do experiment in that, let me know what you think about it. I personally never liked JTS, but I am definitely going to heed your advice. I am working on a new ROLB blitzer right now. Maybe later I will Add some JTS if you think it's working out for you.

both

For blitzing LBs I think 10 disguise blitz, 10 FS and 10 SV is the way to go. Older ones would be hard pressed to get that, but younger ones can.

I got to thinking and for a blitzing LB it might be good to have both streaky and slow starter. Sure you take a hit in the first quarter. But most games it is only going to take away your bonus from streaky. Then in the 2nd half, you should have +10% to all attributes.

11% actually. slow starter gives -5% in the first quarter and +6% in the last half (assuming you have it maxed and you got the required number of plays)

but i agree. i think that strategy can be applied to a few positions.

maybe instead of disguise blitz if you wanted a stronger blitzer. but so far, all the best blitzers pump speed in thinking that its better to not even be touched by a blocker than it is to be blocked and have the necessary attributes to break the block. disguise blitz makes that strategy even more efficient. but if you wanted to make one that can break blocks with relative ease (kind of like an extra DL), then head of steam could probably be utilized pretty well.

Ok thanks for the good info. I initially chose HoS but havent put any points in. Maybe i will think about a shed block/BB%/HoS LB with good strength, although its not a major.
