I kind of like the idea, and would be sure to challenge whoever had the trophy, seems pretty cool.

I think that the challenging team should get to choose the rule however, it should be progressively harder to keep the trophy, having had teams expose weaknesses of your team via these interesting rules.

I do think that people will try to make retarded rules so its best to just have a choice on what you can do...

I say you can do any of the following:

Limit a Down to a single type of play (run/pass):
Only run/pass on 1st/2nd/3rd/4th down
Limit a Quarter to a single type of play (run/pass):
Only run/pass in 1st/2nd/3rd/4th quarter

Fair-Play (Sort of like Madden online play used to have, you would be required to either punt the ball or kick a field goal on 4th downs, and would be expected to not run a single play more than 5-7 times in a game):

If you give people a list of predetermined options to chose from then it would work a lot better, and not require to much work (having to completely do your AI due to some wild outlandish rule).

That'd be an awesome tournament (in fact I might start it) the 'B.U.F.F Tournament' (Big Ugly Fat Fucker)

Where you have to use your Olinemen at skill positions (QB/WR/TE/HB/FB) and your other offensive players have to play on the line. Defense you have to play DT's/DE's as CB's/Safeties (and the CB's/Safeties on the DL).

Should be good for a laugh!

Well I did expect a little sportsmanship, oh well then it'll have to be from a list of rules then

Rule list (expanding on permastoned's idea):

Limiting one down or one/two quarter(s) to rushing/passing only
Can't use a single play more than 5 times (except phantom play call)
One position swap (HBs swapping with Cs, for example, but no more than one position)
Must kick a FG with less than xx yards to go (max yards of 20)
Must punt/kick a FG at 4th down
QBs/HBs/FBs can't run with the ball (except fumbles and phantom play call)

ehh I generally trust people that haven't fucked me over before.... it gets me into trouble sometimes tbh
