I have a (previously) non-boosting DT. I'm not a big fan of non-boosted players, but it was for a non-boosting team run by an agent I like, so I made him. He's now 159 days old, and level 27. I could either boost him to level 30 now, and boost for the rest of his career, or I can retire him for a very small amount of flex.

My question is, if I boost him today to 30, and then boost for the rest of his career, where will he top out, level-wise, and will it be worth it? Or should I just dump him and focus on my other players?

Look for other players with the same age, assuming u made on day 41, find out what's the highest lvl u could've been with boosts in 1st 4 seasons and see how many lvls u're behind at this point. If it's more than 10 u prolly won't make it to the pros. Not sure how casual leagues go as far as lvl 40+ but might find a place.

you could probably wind up in the mid 60's. some of my older players (now retired) didnt boost until level 25, and they would have made it to level 68.

He will be 6 levels behind for the remainder of his career.
