if you are talking about your speed WR Phillip#89 Cotchery, the build is not open so cant really help you there..

not sure what you are asking but if you are trying to build a speed WR id suggest you put all you skill points into speed and avoid the Special abilities for now.

...where did all his SPs go? are you holding them? if so, urdoinitwrong.

in that event, i would recommend retiring and trying again on day 40 or 41. but, since you are only lvl 10, and not level 21 like some people hold SPs till (makes me want to bleach my eyes), you didnt completely screw yourself. if you want to keep him, just continue pumping speed until you get to -at least- the 77 cap or higher. i know some WRs are planning on 82 capping it.

Ima hijack the thread here.... If I take my speed to 87 what will my speed be when I'm in my plat season with eq 140-150?

straight to 87 natural? i think 80 cap will take you yo 95, so 87 should take you to about 98, and with EQ, that would be 156. it should be somewhere around there. i can run it through the builder when i get home though to be sure.

although, i would really probably only recommend taking taking it to 82 cap. any higher than that and you are starting waste too many SPs that should go to other parts of the build.

i took my HB to the 10:1 cap (around 87/88) then trained once, he will have over 100 natural speed and in the 150 range with equip.

That said it is an interesting alternative. If he is matched up with a CB who only brings speed to 68 (as so many do) then he could be very interesting to see in Pro/WL. That said it requires a lot of gameplanning and work to figure out where the slow CBs are.

WL CBs take their Speed well above 68.

i guarantee that, with archetypes, quite a few will only take it to 68. WRs dont get as good of ALGs on speed as CBs do, and so CBs wont need to take speed as high in order to get speed to the same level as WRs. with just 68 capping speed, speed will get to 88.22, i think thats plenty. taking it higer is of course better, but i think that CB builds will need to be much more rounded out that current builds to match up better against the extreme WR archetype builds we will see--speedsters, power, and possession.
