Your oldest retired DE is a level 64 turdbucket with eff level 5 levels lower than actual.

FWIW I ran a DE with 124 agility today in WL and the results were less than impressive. I also have access to a build with ~130 agi and it only yielded 1 sack as well.

130 agility is meh, because having it that high means your strength/speed kinda suck.

That's exactly what I've been saying this entire thread. Same goes for 120 agi imo.

however, one of the best DEs in WL last season had over 120 agility, and I'm pretty sure it is one that you can see the build on

Whoa whoa whoa, dude, we know from various bortisms that strength has (before bull rusher) a higher coefficient in the break block roll than agility. Even if the opposite side was the great wall of china, your highest chances of breaking a block would be stacking the attributes that increase your chance to break a block, meaning strength for example.

The opponent having 120 or 240 strength and 35% or 350% hold block chance is the same. Higher chances of breaking a block are higher chances of breaking a block. The roll isn't "strength vs strength" and "agility vs agility"... It's both factors at once.

except that I'm pretty sure Bort has coded in bonuses to the break block (and hold block) roll based on differential between attributes. (much like how tech man gives a bonus if agility is 10% higher than OL, I think some of those bonuses are already in the code). Also, my experience with the SIM tells me that momentum is a factor. While it may not be part of the actual break block/hold block rolls, it is part of the initial make block/avoid block roll. The score in that roll then carries over as a bonus to the next roll.

This is one reasons DTs (I know we are talking about DEs, but using it for a point) do so much better once they get their vision and speed up, and why they start breaking more blocks when they add first step.

Hopefully.

100/90/100+ right now. Just working on equip upgrades and SA's. He should be close to 110/90ish/110 at some point.

IMO that is the right mix for a LDE. On a RDE, I think I would go with 90/100/120 or maybe 90/110/110.

Except I think I like Strength more than you--I'm not really a fan of 110+ speed.

But as a bunch of us have now mentioned, the best way is to have a lot of all three of str/speed/agility.

Will tell you how 115/90/110 goes pretty soon.

Doing decently, not fantastic.

DEs seem tamed down quite a bit compared to last season.

Which is probably a good thing. Although I wonder if it is via SIM changes or OL getting better.
