I just moved to Springfield from Pittsburgh and am excited about going to Wrigley and Soldier field to see a game this year, I have tickets to watch the pirates get slaughtered as usual in August and Im not sure when Im going to see a Bears game but Im a Cowboys fan so I might go for the Eagles game so I can boo the hell out of them. Riccobennes(SP?) for lunch has great roast beef
Maxwell Street has the best polish sausage you will ever have... It's a must.

Portillo's was my favorite place to eat when I was a kid. It helped that some of them had nice arcades with them.

Actually, I moved from Illinois to Cali after 8th grade and did most of my HS in CA. My brother went to Waubonsi (spelling?) for a little bit. My elementary school was in Downer's Grove and I went to JHS at Thayer J. Hill when I moved to Naperville.
