I'm torn between pushing vision higher or capping strength. Interested in any point of view, and the pros and cons of doing one or the other. Appreciate the advice in advance:

At least if not 77. Also make it so you can train over when you get to that point. Nice start so far though.

Thanks guys. I'm assuming I shouldn't continue to train str with it close to 38 while I put SPs towards vision. What secondary attribute(s) is/are the most important outside the big three?

Also, when I buy equipment which is the best add-on: field general, tight spiral, +2/+3/ or +5% pass quality for the price?

I'm on the other side here, you should cap your strength right now since you are sitting at 37.57 add in your 5sp to make it 42.57 then when you level up your strength will be 43.24 add in your 5 from there and you will be at the first cap with a 48.24.

NOW

you go back to getting your vision up to 73-77 and let your natural level ups help your strength increase at the 2/1 instead of the 1/1.

Agree with joeyjojok.

With the way the passing game is nowadays, definitely start training Confidence. It's the next thing you'll want to cap once you've got Vision & Strength up.

Eventually you'll want to get your Stamina up as well, and then a little bit of Carrying to help prevent the fumbles.

Holy cow get confidence up to cap ASAP! Also work on your vision. Stop putting points into strength. You won't need any more strength for the next several levels. The returns on confidence and vision will be a lot better than anything you could get with strength.

Ultimately you want your distribution to be:
Throwing >>> Vision > Confidence >> Strength

Some good conflicting opinions. I level tomorrow with my str at 92% so if I add my 5 SPs plus tomorrow's 5, I'll hit cap plus the free trained SP. I haven't actually applied any SPs to strength at the moment. You think capping confidence is more important megaman? I choose the deep passer archetype so it wouldn't give me my .67 gains to it--maybe I screwed up there.

Anyways, thanks guys for the advice. This is about as far as I've ever leveled a player before retiring so I'm in foreign territory.

I've seen both high strength and high vision to start. I prefer vision only because I think it is more important early to a qb because they will have a hard time throwing long early because of the oline. To each his own though. I think QB is one of the easiet to build because there are only the 4 major attributes.

Throwing>Vision>Strength>Confidence or Throwing>Strength>Vision>Confidence Both have been successful on teams I have been on.

On AE - I prefer these in order - Tight Spiral - Pass Quality - Pump Fake

At your current level, Confidence won't do a whole heck of a lot for you. But once your QB is in his 30's & beyond, then it will be paramount.

Go with what joeyjojok said and get your strength up to the 48 cap now. You don't have to take it any further than that, but it would benefit you more to do it now given where you are already at with it.

Then go back to pumping your Vision up & take it to the 77 cap.

While you are using SP's to reach these two goals, you should be training Confidence for sure. Once you have Strength to 48 & Vision to 77, then you should concentrate on 73-77 capping Confidence. For now don't worry about putting any more points into it than you would get from training.

Once you've hit the mark with Confidence, then you can go back to focusing on getting Strength up to par.

Thanks guys. I decided to use my 10 SPs to hit 48 in str, trained it to 49. I'll start training my confidence while pumping vision. This seemed to make the most sense to me after reading all of this. I couldn't reach the 3:1 cap for vision with 10 SPs so the level gains are more effective for capping strength. Very appreciative for the help.
