I know we have tried this before and it didn't work out, but I am taking this into my own hands. Right now, just for show, I will award the traveling trophy- http://img717.imageshack.us/i/peeweetravelingtrophy.jpg/ to last season's gold winner, the Short Bus Window Lickers. Now, here's how the trophy passes for now.

1. FTW Tourney Loss- obviously the winner of this tourney will end up with the trophy

Ways the trophy will never pass:

1. Air Attack Game- this doesn't count IMO as a official game for this purpose
2. Regular Season Game- this is also not good just in case some team decides to temp boost to get the trophy

Trophy History:

Short Bus Window Lickers- received trophy in gold league win

2nd Defense- against UT Pimps

2 things...

1. While every one would agree that SBWL would deserve to begin with the trophy, there's no logic in saying that the only way for them to lose it is in the FTW tournament, because they didnt win (or enter) it last year. Also, there is the PW Cup, and ranked scrimmages that could be used to determine if they defend it or it changes hands. Which brings me to my next point...

2. There really is no temp boosting anymore. I know you still can, but at first glance i thought it seems pointless, and cant be done like it used to be done. Its nearly impossible to coordinate due to bonus token situation, and I highly doubt any team is going to have a whole team temp boost. That being said, regular season games should count, as long as it is announced before the game that the trophy is on the line

I agree. I think any regular season, postseason, or ranked scrimmage should count.

true, that was the prime example, also the pee wee cup will count, but not group play.

so if gold league play doesnt count, then sbwl shouldnt start with the traveling trophy as they only won the gold league and air attack last season, both of which are not ways of defending the title.

while they were no doubt the best team last season, they didnt win the PW cup or FTW, which apparently are the only ways to defend it...

that being said, there should be a playoff between Deep Throw It, and Maine Grenadiers for the initial trophy holder, if this is how it is being held...

unless u alter the rules to include league play or AA, in which case, i would agree that SBWL should be considered the team to hold it

Who cares about temp boosting? A loss is still a loss. A regular season game lost b/c the opponent temp boosted has more meaning than a non-temp boosting tourney, IMO. How is that any different than losing a regular season game to a team who boosts early? You going to make a rule that says a boosted team can't take it from a non-boosted team? That's just dumb. It really should be ANY regular, post, or ranked scrimmage game.

So I'd say Pain Nation took it from SBWL.

Their next loss was to the Bears.

Who would have lost it the next day to FT.

Who lost it the next day to ACS.

Who would still have it.
