Known problems:
- VA's suck, because prior to this year he was a "fake WR" with Juke AEQ and 15 in Quick Feet. This is also the reason why his vision is so high. WR's, building a fake WR does not work. I had at one point 35% fake chance, 7 Juke, etc. and he was shit, too.
- Jumping is low. If I could switch anything on my dot, it'd be switching Jumping and
Vision.
- He's a 193 pound fatass.
- Low confidence/stamina, ldo.

From a pure SP aspect, he's fine. Was (as of now) the quickest WR to get to effective level 75 who didn't SSB. And he has, on his good days, 140ish speed.

But damn he sucks. Rarely does he surpass 35 on the speed script and when he does, he doesn't maintain that kind of speed for long (energy/morale).

I just refuse to believe that 13 pounds and about 15 SPs (confidence soft-capped, stamina to 55 or so) make that much of a difference between what should be a good WR and what is absolute trash. Trash meaning ~35% catching percentage, probably (haven't checked in a while but it's not good).

Advise me, WR experts. I'm likely retiring him next year but we're talking about the possibility of 20 SPs + whatever I can accumulate from bonus token conversions.

Is this build fixable? Is it already fixed? Is it too late?

A bunch of wasted SP in vision and carrying. Jumping, confidence and strength are too low, but you know this already.
If you want to go faster, you need more agility.
Track star is crap. The difference between 130 speed and 140 speed is minute in the sim.

He's also in the world league, and corners there won't allow a receiver with only third capped catching and double capped jumping/vision to catch the ball.

If you can reset your VAs (trade quick feet or track star for 15 possession receiver) and move some eq from speed to agility, you'll be better off. You could put SP into jumping and train confidence and/or strength.

Almost everything is fine. Track Star is a good choice for a guy with your natural speed, Agility is just fine since you have high First Step. Catching, Jumping, and Vision are all fine. The only thing you need to do is raise Confidence to 60.

EDIT: Well, that and get your VA's fixed when you can.

The only big problems are that confidence is too low and VAs are screwed up. I don't see sub-60 jumping as a big issue, although the wasted points in carrying/vision hurts you.

Would have liked to see 73+ catching, but your agility is absolutely fine with 8 First Step.

I think his weight is probably holding him back somewhat, but honestly that's a great build, and I wouldn't be surprised if with your next VA reset you have a monster S17.

Disagree that Track Star is crap--once you're at 185+ natural speed the boost is easily worthwhile. You really need to swap out Clever instincts/Quick Feet for some combination of Mr. Reliable/Possession Receiver/whatever else your OC's scheme entails, though.

Basically, I think the main thing that's wrong with him is that he didn't sign with Monowi.

I love fake WR's.

Sorry it didn't work out, but my WR piled up 6,200 YAC yards, mostly because of fakes, so you can't say it doesn't work. That's in line with some of the best power WR's. I have two more fake WR's in the works and we'll see how they pan out.

My WR was heavier than yours as well, so I wouldn't pin in on weight.

build looks similar to a WR I know that was very successful in WL level. Please sign with Kai, Hedgehogs or Hood so i can tell you. Most of the comments so far have been wrong BTW. He basically needs one VA reset and one AEQ switch to be epic.

Kind of annoying i cant tell you right now what it is, maybe in offseason. PM me, no joke

Yeah, he kinda did.

That doesn't mean fakes won't work. My lvl 42 still isn't at the point I'm pumping up juke and all of that yet. His 5 in juke and 50 vision isn't stitching clown-suits for many people (though he has to a few).

I feel confident it will work, but until I have high enough fake chance and a legit amount of SA's I can't say yay or nay on how much of it was X-factor. He was just built in a more balanced way (he was one of my earlier players) and Dax is more of a typical unbalanced lvl 42 slow-build.

Still, the build is very good. It's the anti-x-factor at work.

Imo...

Sell the +3 carry, +x% catch ball and buy a +3 spd, +quick cut piece.

Keep pumping jumps with SPs to the 2-cap, and keep training strength. VA pump possession receiver, and when reset time comes next season finish it off and work Mr. reliable as high as you can (resetting out of clever/quick).

All of the WRs on your team but 1 have sub 38% catch rates in the pre-season/game 1. I also noticed your QB throwing a bit light in the couple plays I watched (getting him on maybe -50 or -60 bullet would likely help). Not a huge fan of the routes you are running either, but that's neither here nor there.

Gurupies are sweet peeps, but if you wanna try to test new waters in his final season, shoot me a PM around day 20 buddy. 2-capping jumping then stamina, getting more quick cut, and working VA's will help, and his base spd/agi is awesome.
