I have 21 SP saved up and I am wondering if I should put it all in agility to take advantage of ALG's or use them to softcap something else, like vision or tackling.

Train your strength, then use your SP to cap it ASAP.

Don't lag your strength behind.

Then cap agi to next level, then cap it again, then cap spd, then you can think about capping vis

don't let sta lag too far behind too, remember sta plays a more prominent role now.

Shouldn't you like give him a better advice? You're basically telling him to flat out waste ALGs and will cause his player to be even more inefficient than he already is in the long run.

Says one with a DE that can't get any meaningful sacks?

It's a run-stuffer in a 3-4 defense. DUH. It's not _MEANT_ to get sacks. So you've AGAIN showed you know nothing of what you're saying. And it's a level 26. Sacks at level 26 sure matter a lot if they mean you'll never have a good high level player.

Come on man, if you must give bad advice, at least do it only to those who can tell it's bad and leave the people who want to learn like the OP alone.

To the OP: Don't spread SP around. Invest them into your most important attribute until your cap of choice (73/77), then onto the next most important attribute to the cap of choice, etc. This will allow you to get the most use of your natural growth as your player levels. Also, your equipment should be divided amongst SPD, AGI and STR (not necessarily all three, but you should not have equipment elsewhere).

I would say to OP, get your main attribute where you want it. If you are making a speed guy, get speed where you want it. To the +5 would prob be good. Then get agility there, +5. The whole time train strength/tackling.

After you cap both speed and agility, strength to the +5, then tackling.

A good goal to shoot for is natural 80 in all three; speed, agility, strength.

Hope that helps.
