I think the bigger thing was that even on a level 1 CB which likely doesn't have points assigned, the catch fake didn't really shake the defender. That makes it pretty much worthless.

Agreed, the CB looked like he wasn't affected at all

could just be because the wr lacks the agility to do the cuts right now, so they too are standing there retarded at this time, later in the season they make some of these cuts without stopping.

yea ...too early to tell, but you would expect there to be some adjustments to that in the sims for this season, coz it was beyond a joke in season15!
