My biggest pet peeve is a contract offer with no PM. I will talk with teams that are interested in my player, and make a decision based on those conversations. I will not even look at offers if a PM has not been sent. Once a decision is made, I will only accept a 1 year deal. This is to insure I am getting what has been discussed, and to be sure the team is a good fit and I am a good fit for the team. If things go well in the first season, I will be happy to sign a long term contract.
