There are many stances of Agnosticism and Atheism that confuse me to some extent when trying to label myself. I have always maintained that i am agnostic because i never wanted to tell someone that god isn't possible to even exist. So I think I will label myself an agnostic athiest which means via Wikipedia - the view of those who do not know of the existence or nonexistence of God or gods, and do not believe in them.

The world is changing in ways that keeps us all divided and that worries me for our generations of people to come. The major problems of the world revolve around Religion and resources. The world would be a better place without Religion."
Well said.
I don't know if a world full of hopelessness would be better.
What makes you think a world without religion is hopeless? That is a very bleek way to look at it. Hasen't religion done enough harm to humanity as it is? The history of religius persecution and wars is well documented. The Middle East is prime example of what's wrong about religion in so many ways. Jews and Muslims will never let go of their differences. Our troops are fighting people that kill themselves in the name of religion.
When i think of a world without religion, racial division, or territorial boundries I feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It would free peoples minds to live their own lives in a way to progress humanity. There will always be a struggle for resources and wealth as well as the classes ranging from poor to rich but if the other stuff was stamped out how could it not be a better place.

Religion gives hope to a better life after this. To think that once we die its then over would most likely make the world very bleek.

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one
Your post reminded me of a song.

Not totally. He would have to refer to someone as an "infidel" first. Then we will be back to normal.
