Ive noticed that my XP has not gone up at all, does that mean that I do not acquire XP anymore? And if so, I see you can trade in XP for various things, what is the best to trade in for?

You don't get GAME experience once playoffs start. Only whatever level you're at on nightly rollover. So lvl 40 is 25 a night til day 39-40.

But looking at my XP History, the last time it says I got any kind of XP 3-3-2010.......?

when your players hit 400 days old, they stop getting XP.
when they hit 440 days, their attributes start to decline
