I certainly wish you the best. This is the toughest BBB League out there. If you can keep your players together and grow together you guys will become a formidable opponent. We were the laughing stock of the league last season. We're still near the bottom, but we're MUCH more improved. Keep your players positively motivated and your team forum active. You'll be fine down the road.

well i know a buddy from another team is on the list, if he aquired one that had players on it the plan to fire sale everyone and build up the stadium was the plan.
its not a bad idea if you already have a good chunk of players lined up and you were doing recruiting/scouting before you got your team - nice cash influx for upgrades and whatnot

2 gimme wins vs. 2 pretty easy wins are a wash IMO. Who cares if you can beat the bottom teams 200-0 rather than 100-0, doesn't make it any easier.
Take the top 8 teams in each league- that will tell you how hard it is to actually win a conference.
