Regardless of if it's a bad pass or good pass.

Your dot gets a percentage bonus to AGI, SPD, and VIS form the moment the ball is in the air until the moment it is caught or knocked down or incompleted. AGI, and VIS affect the PD roll, the INT roll, and the Catch roll...

Some might argue that they see no effect from Ball Hawk, but I can see how it would work and affect the play. But are there better VA's? Yeah, there are better VA's for WR's out there.

bort has confirmed that it is only for WR when the pass is bad. yeah, it may take effect, but its not going to do anything. the QB doesnt take ball hawk into consideration when calculating lead distance. it gives you a bonus to vision, which i guess is helpful (as it is indeed part of the catch roll), but a CB is going to have the bonus on speed, agility, and vision for longer than your run of the mill WR... you just cant beat a CB with ball hawk by using ball hawk. you need to find other ways to do it, because if you expect ball hawk to even the odds, you are going to lose that battle more times than not. you can try to fight fire with fire, but it wont do anything in this case.

so that kind of answers you too powski. yeah it kind of negates it on bad passes (turning a --possible-- INT into just a PD... chances are that you wont catch the thing if a CB is in the area.), but imo, it isnt enough to make getting BH worthwhile. and then it wont help you at all on good passes except for the bonus to vision which should slightly increase your catch roll... but keep in mind that the CB is also getting that bonus, so take it for what its worth.

Bort confirmed it only helps a WR when the pass is bad, basically meaning he doesn't think the bonus is helpful unless the ball is out of reach and requires a drastic adjustment.
