how long can a hb last(ie remain effective and a threat) once decline starts to set in? will multiple va help prop him up? any suggestion when he should retire? 500days, 520 days old etc.

in a AA league....

I'd say 15 season max unless you want to be in AA

I agree, if you can perform well and get 15 seasons out of a player then it will ne time to hang them up.

Especially when Decline is now causing more then a 25 point attribute hit on the each of the Big Four (Strength, Speed, Agilty, & Carrying).
