Nothing is fucked here, Dude. Come on, you're being very un-Dude. They'll call back.
83 for 84, and still holding fast to my grudge against the Black Sea Raiders for daring to go against me in W7.
GOTW
Warsaw Wolves (10-3) @ Baden Bandits (8-5): Interesting matchup, this one. Warsaw’s struggled a little bit to find a rhythm offensively but remained p sharp on defense all season; Baden’s been kind of the opposite. Very efficient offensively in just about every game except a couple but up and down defensively. The great unknown in this game is which Baden team shows up: the one that damn near beat Lyon, or the team that had a 25% completion rate and negative rush yards (vs. EE and Alpine)? Warsaw better hope it’s the latter - if this one turns into a shootout I like Baden’s chances. Imma take Baden here, to totally throw Zeta seedings outta whack. Baden by 3.
Hamburg Parrots (7-6) @ Black Sea Raiders (6-7): Huge win for the Parrots last week as they all but locked up a playoff spot. If they can go win W15, and Baden loses tomorrow to Warsaw, they’ll be playing for the 7th seed. And tbh, I’d much rather play the Bandits in rd. 1, so go ‘head and make that happen, k? GP’ing to stop Slow Roll = not fun. Parrots by 24.
The Evil Empire (13-0) @ Belfast Commandos (4-9): Evil’s pursuit of perfection takes another step forward. Hopefully we can cause Jumbo to have a shitty game and knock him out of the MVP race. Evil by 84.
Alpine (12-1) @ Rome Titans (0-13): Did you know the Neanderthal's brain was bigger than yours is? It’s true. Alpine by 255+.
Bjelasnica Red Star (3-10) @ Bath Killer Bees (10-3): The Bees bounced (buzzed?) back nicely after a humbling loss to the Dark Side, showing their resiliency both by playing well early -and- in rallying for 17 points in the final 6 minutes for a big time W. They’re clinging to that #4 seed - can they hang on? No doubt about this one, or next week for that matter, but W16 and a visit from Alpine loom. Bees by 91.
Lyon Winemakers (10-3) @ Stockholm Meatballs (1-12): Lyon will end up at worst the #5 seed, but could conceivably work their way up to #3, should Warsaw slip up this week and the Bees in W16. Regardless, they can put it on cruise control and coast the final 3 games. Lyon by 200.
Rome Arcani (1-12) @ The Legion (9-4): Yawn, Legion rolls. Legion by 147.
Munich Keggers (5-8) @ Dresden Demons (7-6): Two teams headed in opposite directions here, imo. Munich’s had a disappointing season, but will be a force the next couple of seasons as that core group gets into plateau. Dresden, on the other hand, appears to be on a farewell cruise, as nobody’s signed beyond d40 this season and a handful of guys have been inactive since mid-April. Regardless, the Demons just have too many levels for the Keggers to overcome here. Dresden by 31.
