I'm looking at what skill to take to the next cap after I take strength to the 68-cap.

Here are my options:
Vision to 73
Strength to 73
Confidence to 61

Given that he is not a booster, should I look to close out his build now or wait another season? Should I really start hitting SAs given that he is 302 days old?

Also... I know the general consensus is that Clutch is the #2 VA. Is it just me or does it seem too situational (a la Pass Rusher for D-linemen)? While it wouldn't be an all-or-nothing deal, would Hail Mary be a better way to go given that his yards per completion is 20? Of course, doing this would change tactics a little bit too making it even more sensible. Opinions?

Of course, other alternatives include (and these are primarily just speculation):

Thick Skin -- This one interests me... turning the tables on LBs with high Glare and DTs with high Snarl might be interesting. Of course, the effects of Glare and Snarl aren't entirely known, as nothing empirical really can determine this because a) having a control in something like GLB is impossible and b) having a dataset to run multiple regression is impossible as not enough people open their builds, even though a large enough sample is indeed possible...)

Heart of a Champion -- come playoff time, +20 or 30 Confidence would be huge, but is the obvious large benefit in playoff time overshadowed the regular season opportunity cost?)

Natural Leader -- I have heard such mixed reviews about this because some people value Field General so much more than others...

RZF -- While I obviously wouldn't max this out, would putting 2-3 points into this be worth my while?

Streaky -- This is one of those all-or-nothing attributes and would require a fix at reset...

Hometown Hero -- While this isn't talked about, might this be sort of an overlooked VA? In half of the games, QB would get +1 to Confidence and +1% to Stamina for each level...

Laser Arm -- This is always a safe bet, but is Throwing high enough that the falling marginal returns make Football Genius a better choice?

Football Genius -- See previous

I honestly haven't seen much success in quick release at all when I had my QB. I personally would like to see HOC because of your lack of confidence and if you can't find a playoff team that is truly sad because you should be able to. I would get confidence to 61 then cap vision one more time and confidence to 68 again. Finally go to SA's..

Sounds like a good plan.

I'll do a little more research on Quick Release before totally giving up on it. Combined with Quick Read, I've got to believe it has serious ups...

When I can take a VA to 15, I'd consider Streaky...

You need to get Confidence to the 68 cap ASAP.
